The intervention will be based on international good practices to evaluate schools. The international good practices will be identified in October 2021. A particular focus will be put on the role of school leaders and the required capacity building activities. Further, the role of networks and data management will be explored. The international good practices will be discussed in a context of the Moroccan education systems, including challenges and success factors. The intervention will also touch upon World Bank’s engagement in the education sector and more precisely on the support of accountability mechanisms and practices, including school improvement plans, that enhance a culture among teachers, principals, learners, and parents to focus and rely on data to improve teaching and learning. The intervention can be discussed with the organizers ahead of the planned conference dates.
